How to Find Us: By Road
If you are using Satellite Navigation, insert the postcode ME1 1SW and use your Satellite Navigation system in conjunction with the brown tourist signs to find the Rochester and Rochester Castle.
NB: When referring to "brown tourist signs" in the text below, this refers to both brown signs with the words "The Historic Rochester" on.
From London: Take the A2/M2 to junct 1, then follow the tourist signs to Rochester via the A2 straight through Strood
From the coast: Take the M2 to junct 3, then follow the tourist signs to Rochester via A229 (City Way)
Rochester is only an hour's drive from London, Dover and the Channel Tunnel and a short distance from the M25. The town is clearly sign posted from junctions 1 and 3 of the M2. Follow the brown tourist signs.

How to Find Us: By Train
Rochester & Strood stations are both within easy walking distance of Rochester High Street & the Castle grounds.
Rochester is served by a regular train service from London Victoria and Charing Cross (45 minutes to 1 hour), Dover (1 hour) and Margate (1 hour). Whilst Strood offers connections to London Bridge & Charing Cross via Gravesend and Dartford
