The Dickens Christmas Market at Rochester Castle will run for 17 days starting on Friday 3rd to Sunday 19th December 2010. It will replace the existing craft market which has previously taken place in the Castle grounds during the Dickensian Christmas Festival to create what we believe will be the largest 'authentic' German Style Christmas market in the UK, featuring up to 300 Christmas chalets, a giant Christmas tree, bandstand, and carousel. The castle walls will be illuminated and the entire market will be decorated in festive tradition to ensure that visitors experience a truly spectacular Christmas atmosphere.
